Michael Jungbauer Senate R 48 Anoka County Commissioner He sought the Republican party endorsement in Senate District 31. He lost the endorsement to Michelle Benson. He then decided to run for Anoka County Commissioner. He lost the primary.
Mary Jo McGuire Senate DFL 66 Ramsey County Commissioner She sought the Democratic-Farmer-Labor party endorsement in Senate District 66. She lost the endorsement to John Marty. She then decided to run for Ramsey County Commissioner and was elected.
Mike Parry Senate R 26 Congressional District 1 He earned the Republican party endorsement in Congressional District 1. He lost the primary to Allen Quist.
Kurt Bills House R 37B United States Senate He earned the Republican party endorsement for United States Senate. He won the primary election but lost the general election to Amy Klobuchar.
Ron Shimanski House R 18A McLeod County Commissioner He was elected McLeod County Commissioner.
