• eLibraryMN - Search for magazine, newspaper, and journal articles, eBooks, and information from reference sources; a free service for Minnesota residents.
• Minnesota Historical Society - The world's largest repository of Minnesota materials. Minnesota People Records Search (genealogy), Gale Family Library, and Collections Online are just three of the library's unique offerings. Some MHS search tools are unavailable summer 2023 for system updates.
• Minnesota Library Information Network (MnLINK) - A statewide virtual library, funded by the Minnesota Legislature. Link to library catalogs throughout the state and to full-text magazine databases.
• Minnesota Public Libraries - A directory of libraries and library systems.
• Minnesota's State Government Libraries - CALCO (Capitol Area Library Consortium) serves the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of Minnesota state government.
• University of Minnesota Libraries - Access the collections of the University.

• Libdex - A directory of 18,000 online libraries worldwide. Search by country or by library.
• Public Libraries - Extensive directories include U.S. public libraries, state libraries, presidential libraries, university and college libraries, and national libraries of the world.
• The WWW Library Directory - An index to over 8,800 libraries and library-related websites in 130 countries.

State and Federal Government Libraries

• Library of Congress - Search the catalog or browse the library's historical digital collections.
• United States National Agricultural Library - Use AGRICOLA, a database of agricultural literature.
• United States National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) - A federal agency that preserves our nation's history and oversees the management of all federal records.
• United States National Library of Education - The federal government's primary resource center for education information.
• United States National Library of Medicine - Search PubMed, a database containing over 18 million references to medical articles.
• USA State Libraries - Links to the websites of state government libraries.

Minnesota Library Organizations

• Information and Technology Educators of Minnesota (ITEM) - "Minnesota's professional organization for all school library media specialists, technology coordinators and specialists, technology integrationists, and anyone else is interested in application of information and technology to learning". ITEM is part of the Minnesota Library Association.
• Metronet - A library organization serving academic, public, and special libraries in the Twin Cities. Included is a directory of Minnesota library websites and the Metronet Jobline.
• Minitex - A publicly supported network of academic, public, state government, and special libraries working cooperatively to improve library service.
• Minnesota Association of Law Libraries (MALL) - Legal research professionals representing state, county, academic, court, law firm, and corporate law libraries.
• Minnesota Library Association (MLA) - Representing Minnesota's libraries and library workers and improving library services and resources.
• Minnesota Special Libraries Association - The Minnesota state affiliate of the Special Libraries Association (SLA).
• PALS - A program of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MNSCU), PALS provides automated library services to the system's libraries and to private college, state government, special, public, and school libraries across the state of Minnesota.
• State Library Services - A unit of the Minnesota Department of Education, this office provides leadership and support to the Minnesota library community and administers federal and state grants-in-aid programs for libraries and schools.

• American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) - Founded to promote and enhance the value of law libraries to the legal and public communities.
• American Library Association (ALA) - The oldest and largest library association in the world.
• American Society for Indexing (ASI) - The only professional organization in the United States devoted solely to the advancement of indexing, abstracting, and database building.
• Association for Information Science and Technology - Leading the search for new and better theories, techniques, and technologies to improve access to information.
• International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) - An international organization representing the interests of libraries and information services.
• OCLC (Online Computer Library Center, Inc.) - A nonprofit membership organization serving more than 69,000 libraries in 112 countries and territories. Search the collections of member libraries using WorldCat.
• Special Libraries Association (SLA) - An international association working to advance the leadership role of its members working in corporations, governments, and the professions.
