Minnesota Office of Higher Education - A state agency that provides students with financial aid programs and serves as the state's clearinghouse for data, research, and analysis on post-secondary enrollment, financial aid, finance, and trends.
Minnesota State - Minnesota's statewide system of state universities, community, and technical colleges. Formerly known as Minnesota State Colleges & Universities (MNSCU).
Minnesota Transfer - Minnesota State has officially partnered with Transferology to show students how their institutions will award credits for transferable courses, exams, military experience, life learning experiences, and more.
Minnesota's Private Colleges - A variety of information on 18 Minnesota private nonprofit colleges.
University of Minnesota - Information about departments, services, and admissions. Includes faculty and student directories and access to the Minnesota Daily newspaper.

ACT - The website includes resources for taking the ACT test and a variety of research. Also available is Average ACT Scores by State Graduating Class 202 2.
American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) - The AACC works to promote the goals of community colleges. Research and statistics are available.
College Board - See the latest SAT test scores.
College Savings Plans Network (CSPN) - The CSPN serves as a clearinghouse for information about college savings programs including states' programs. Also referred to as 529 plans.
Education Commission of the States (ECS) - A nonpartisan organization that tracks state education policy trends. Includes postsecondary governance 50-State comparative data, archive data, and resources by state.
Institute for Higher Education Policy (IHEP) - The Institute is a non-profit, non-partisan organization whose mission is to foster access to, and quality in, postsecondary education.
Midwestern Higher Education Compact (MHEC) - Promoting interstate cooperation and resource sharing in higher education, with a focus on cost savings programs, student access, and policy research.
Sallie Mae - The leading provider of student loans in the U.S.
State Higher Education Executive Officers (SHEEO) - An association of state higher education leaders who serve statewide coordinating and governing boards and other state policy agencies for higher education. The group publishes an annual report titled, State Higher Education Finance.

American School Search - Search by schools, by degree programs, and by state.
College Board College Search - Search for colleges by name, location, degree programs, type of institution, and campus life.
College Navigator - A product of the U.S. Department of Education, this site has information about preparing for college, including financial aid options. Search for colleges using a variety of criteria.
Community College Review - Provides profiles of community colleges in the United States. The compare community colleges option lets the user compare such features as number of staff, number of full-time and part-time students, race/ethnicity of enrolled students, and tuition.
Online Schools.org - The most extensive database of accredited online schools. Includes information by state.
Peterson's - Search for information about college and universities and about attending college.
Real Work Matters (RWM) - Offers a database of private postsecondary vocational schools in the United States.
Search for Schools and Colleges - A database searchable by institution name, city, or zip code. Statistics are provided for each institution. A product of the National Center for Education Statistics.
U.S. News College Search - Search for colleges by state, degree programs, and college name. Includes a directory of online colleges and an occupations guide.

Campus Safety and Security Data Analysis Cutting Tool - Data on reported criminal offenses for many colleges and universities in the United States. A product of the U.S. Office of Postsecondary Education.
College and University Rankings - A compilation of higher education rankings. Provided by the University of Illinois.
College InSight - Higher education data on a variety of topics including affordability, diversity, and student success; from the Institute for College Access & Success.
Educational Attainment - Data from the Current Population Survey (CPS) for the United States, with limited data for states and selected metropolitan areas.
Grapevine - An annual compilation of data on state fiscal support for higher education. A joint project of the Center for the Study of Education Policy at Illinois State University and the State Higher Education Executive Officers (SHEEO).
Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) - The primary source for data on colleges, universities, and technical and vocational postsecondary institutions in the United States. A variety of statistical data is available through the College & Career Tables Library. A product of the National Center for Education Statistics.
U.S. Department of Education Office of Postsecondary Education - Information on federal higher education programs, including student aid.
U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges - A well-known annual college rankings report.
