Affordable Care Act (“Obamacare”)
Detailed articles about specific aspects of the Affordable Care Act (ACA or “Obamacare”) are everywhere—articles about ACA’s impact on long-term care, on mental health coverage, or on insurance companies. It’s harder to find broad, overview articles of this landmark legislation. Here are two good overviews:

One important aspect of the ACA is the latitude it gives states to establish an insurance exchange. Legislation was introduced earlier this month establishing a state health insurance exchange in Minnesota; a March 31 federal deadline gives lawmakers little time for debate. The Minnesota Department of Commerce published a report earlier this year outlining the impact of the ACA on the state.
