Agenda: Among the significant measures before the committee, SF 3517 redefines what constitutes "driving while impaired," and SF 2615 would prohibit the construction and use of private prisons in Minnesota. The City of St. Cloud would house a gang strike task force (SF 3532), and a Forensic Laboratory Oversight Commission would be created (SF 3273). The committee also considers SF 3170, unifying the fire code appeals process; SF 3051, creating an appeal process for the revocation of a fireworks operator license, and SF 3078, making several miscellaneous changes to public safety provisions.
