Agenda: Minnesota residents who are fighting a serious illness and would benefit from the use of marijuana would be able to legally purchase and use the drug, according to SF 1973, a bill before the committee. Also before the panel, SF 2803, would criminalize the sale of drug paraphernalia. The committee also considers the following measures: SF 3192 - regulating the handling and identification of human remains; SF 3249 - attempting to reduce the backlog of data relating to missing persons and unidentified bodies; SF 3226 - Modifying sentencing provisions relating to career offenders.
