Three bills to suspend the Dept. of Public Safety's current system of sampling drivers to verify that they are insured are before the committee (01:27:18) The three bills include: SF 285 - Restoring previous system requiring proof of auto insurance when obtaining new license; SF 159 - Requiring automobile insurance verification be sent certified mail; SF 372 - Requring mail surveys to be forwarded to the appropriate address.

Also, the committee reviews SF 181, designating Biauswah Bridge and Roussain Cemetery (00:00:00) and hears about MnDOT's state and district planning process (00:07:34).
