Agenda: Minnesota taxpayers who contribute to Health Savings Accounts would be able to fully deduct their contributions when determining their state income tax. The bill, SF 99, would conform state income tax policy to the federal law, which excludes amounts contributed to Health Savings Accounts from federal income. (Coverage begins at 01:10:58). Also before the committee are the following bills: SF 22 - Creating a prescription drug bulk purchasing program (00:00:00); SF 23 - Establising pricing reporting requirements for wholesale drug manufacturers (00:21:42); SF 227 - Forming a cancer drug repository program (00:54:04).
