Office of Transformation and Strategy Delivery
Active dates:July 2020 -
Function: The MNIT Office of Transformation and Strategy Delivery was established to advance Blue Ribbon Council on Information Technology (BRC-IT) recommendations related to modernizing business process change and project delivery. The Transformation Office sets guidelines for how MNIT works with business partners and helps guide the cultural shift that comes along with updated organizational — and technology — practices. The office intends to strengthen the ties between MNIT, state agency strategic initiatives, and Blue Ribbon Council recommendations.
History:
The Governor's Blue Ribbon Council on Information Technology was established in 2019 to expand on the work done by the former Technology Advisory Committee. The council prepares quarterly reports to the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, the Commissioner of Minnesota IT Services, and the Legislature. The Office of Transformation and Strategy Delivery was created to further the work of the Council in regards to business process changes.
