Function:

Approves minimum rates for workers' compensation insurance in Minnesota and supervises the application of rates as made by the Minnesota Compensation Rating Bureau. The board holds public hearings prior to annual rate revisions. May review actions of any insurer, agent, or bureau upon its own motion or written complaint of an aggrieved party.
