The Board of the State Fund Mutual Insurance Company controls and manages the fund created as a nonprofit independent public corporation to insure employers against liability for personal injuries to employees.

Membership:

9 members (4 appointed by the governor, 3 members elected by policyholders, commissioner of labor and industry and fund president/manager, ex officio); appointed by governor; annual stipend, per meeting stipend, and expenses.
