Text: The undersigned all agree that the 87th Legislature, 2012 1st Special Session will convene onAugust 24, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the State Capitol in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and will be limited tothe 2012 Disaster ~elief Appropriation Bill. The appropriations in the 2012 Disaster ReliefAppropriations Bill are reflected in the legislative spreadsheet.Under this agreement, the undersigned agree to the.following:1. No amendments to the Disaster Relief Appropriation Bill~ once it is finalized by thesignature of all five leaders below, and ·conveyed to the House and Senate in that exact on Friday, August 24th, will be voted upon or passed by either body.2. the only other bill that will be considered or passed, if-necessary, will be a technicalcorrections bill related to the 2012 Disaster Relief Appropriation Bill. Before anytechnical cori:ections bill can be considered or passed by either body, all of theundersigned must agree to it in writing.3. An urgency will be declared under Article IV, Section 19 of the Minnesota Constitution,and Permanent Senate Rule 2 and Permanent House Rule 1.04, requiring that a bill begiven three readings on three separate days, vvill be suspended.4.
