Mandate Details

Description: Report making recommendations among options to permit reimbursement of community-first services and supports workers to provide: (1) up to eight hours of overtime per week per worker beyond the current maximum number of reimbursable hours per month; (2) asleep overnight and awake overnight staffing in the same manner as direct support professionals under the brain injury waiver, community alternative care waiver, community access for disability inclusion waiver, and developmental disabilities waiver; and (3) services in shifts of up to 80 consecutive hours when otherwise compliant with federal and state labor laws.

This report is also mandated under 2024 Minn. Laws Chap. 127 Art. 46 Sec. 35
