Report consisting solely of summary data about dismissals of charges against military veterans for crimes committed due to conditions resulting from service, including:
(1) the number of individuals who received a deferred sentence in the previous year, disaggregated by county;
(2) the number of individuals who received an adjudication of guilt in the previous year, disaggregated by county;
(3) the number, of those individuals who received an adjudication of guilt, who committed a technical violation of probation and the number alleged to have committed a subsequent criminal act; and
(4) the number of proceedings dismissed pursuant to subdivision 3 in the previous year, disaggregated by county.

In the Description above:
(1) "individuals who received a deferred sentence" means those who did so pursuant to Minn. Stat. 609.1056 Subd. 2(b);
(2) and (3) "individuals who received an adjudication of guilt" refers to those described in Minn. Stat. 609.1056 Subd. 2(d); and
(4) "proceedings dismissed" means proceedings under Minn. Stat. 609.1056 Subd. 3.
This report may be submitted as a section of any other annual report required to be submitted by the Sentencing Guidelines Commission. In 2025, the information required under this mandate appears on page 43 of the Minnesota Sentencing Guidelines Commission Report to the Legislature that was published January 15, 2025.
