Description: Evaluation of the need for licensure or other regulatory modifications for medical assistance early intensive developmental and behavioral intervention (EIDBI) services, including: (1) an examination of current Department of Human Services-licensed programs that are similar to EIDBI; (2) an environmental scan of licensure requirements for Medicaid autism programs in other states; and (3) consideration of health and safety needs for populations with autism and related conditions.
