    Note: The report is due in years following the adoption of a new commercial energy code. The Minn. Dept. of Labor and Industry shall adopt commercial energy codes from 2024 to 2036 that incrementally move toward achieving the 80 percent reduction in annual net energy consumption. According to the Minn. Dept. of Labor and Industry, next time the agency expects to adopt rules that would trigger that reporting requirement is in 2026, resulting in a report due by January 1, 2027.
