Mandate Details

Description: Report that recommends: (1) a statutory definition of 911 telecommunicators; (2) minimum training and continuing education standards for certification of 911 telecommunicators; (3) standards for certification of 911 telecommunicators; (4) funding options for mandated 911 telecommunicators training; (5) best practices in incident response command structure for the state's first responders to implement that do not violate either the U.S. or Minn. Constitutions, after reviewing the various incident response command structures used in the field across the nation and world; and (6) other items the 911 Telecommunicator Working Group deems appropriate
