Session Notes: He died while in office. Oscar W. Olson, a private citizen, contested the election of Claude H. MacKenzie in the 1934 election. L.T. Wiick, unsuccessful candidate, also brought corrupt pracice charges against the incumbent related to a granite contract for the new state office building. Claude H. MacKenzie was determined to be the winner of the election and entitled to the seat.
