GENERAL NOTES
Toensing, the Minnesota Journal of the House, 1885 and 1887, and the Biographical Directory of the United States Congress list his last name as Snider. The Minnesota Legislative Manual, 1885 lists both Snider and Sneider.
He moved to New York after the United States Civil War. He came to Minnesota in 1871, 1874, or 1876.
He was an unsuccessful candidate for reelection to the United States House of Representatives in 1890.
He died in Minneapolis, Minnesota and was buried there in Lakewood Cemetery.
