    GENERAL NOTES

    He came to Wisconsin in 1885 with his parents. They moved to Kittson County, Minnesota in 1888.

    Victor Holmquist was endorsed by the Non-Partisan League in 1918. Once elected he was not happy with the Non-Partisan League Minority and ran as an independent in the next election. He lost the following election. He organized with the Conservative Majority in his third term. His quest for reelection failed. He became a staunch Democrat later in life. (Holmquist, Stanley W.     He was an unsuccessful candidate for State House district 67 in 1922 and 1928.

    He is buried at Red River Cemetery, Kennedy, Kittson County, Minnesota.
