GENERAL NOTES

He ran unsuccessfully for the Minnesota House of Representatives twice before he won in the 1990 election. ("Election was 'Realization of a Dream' for Krinkie." Session Weekly, February 22, 1991, p. 15.)

He sought and lost the Republican party endorsement to Michele Bachmann for the 6th Congressional House District race in May 2006.

He ran unsuccessfully as the Republican party endorsed candidate for the Minnesota House of Representatives in the 2006 election. His opponent, Paul Gardner, defeated him by only 55 votes so an automatic recount occurred. The recount confirmed that Paul Gardner had won, by 51 votes.
