He was a Railroad Employee, 1902-1906, 1912. He was a Commercial Fisherman, 1907-1911. After 1912 he spent the next 30 years in Truck Farming and Commercial Fishing. In 1942 he responded to the urgent call of the railroads to help move the war materials.
