                                    Session Notes:
From 1849 to 1886, the term of office start date is uncertain. George C. Chamberlain won the election and was sworn in on the first day of session. His election was contested by A.L. Patchen. The Minnesota House found evidence of gross election fraud and determined that A.L. Patchen was entitled to the seat.
