GENERAL NOTES

He came to St. Anthony, Minnesota in 1850.

He built the third house in Minneapolis on the West bank and was the first postmaster there. The first Baptist services in Minneapolis on the West bank were held in his home in 1853 with only 10 members.

He was trained as a physician, but did not work in his trade while in Minnesota.

Sometime before 1873, he moved to Springfield, Missouri.

He is buried at Maple Park Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri.
