Manpower Office

Active dates:November 17, 1975-1977
Function: The Governor's Manpower Office will continue cooperation with the Office of Human Services in its search for an optimal structure of all human services functions, including those of the Division of Economic Opportunity, which the State provides.
History: In 1975 the functions of the Governor's Office of Economic Opportunity were transferred to the Governor's Manpower Office (Executive order 125). The Governor's Office of Economic Opportunity will now be now be known as the "Division of Economic Opporunity" in the Governor's Manpower Office.

In 1977 the state and federally funded programs previously administered by the Governor's Manpower Office were transferred to the Department of Economic Security (Executive order 160).
