Legislative Commission on Child Protection

Function: The commission shall study matters relating to child protection and coordinate and oversee activities of the standing committees dealing with these issues.
The commission shall report its findings and recommendations to the governor and the legislature by December 15 of each even-numbered year, beginning in 1992.
History:
Repealed: 1995 Minn. Laws Chap. 248 Art. 2 Sec. 8.
Membership:
10 members: Five members of the house of representatives, including members of the minority caucus, shall be appointed by the speaker and five members of the senate, including members of the minority caucus, shall be appointed by the subcommittee on committees.
