Joint Legislative Committee on Solid and Hazardous Waste

Function:

Assist and advise the Minnesota State Planning Agency in designing research and work programs regarding solid and hazardous waste; review research in progress.

By June 15, 1978 the planning agency shall submit a coordinated research design and work program for projects under sections 1 to 6 for review by the joint committee.

History:

Expires 1 July 1979.
Membership:

Speaker of MN House of Representatives appoints seven house members and seven members of the senate appointed by the majority leader. The committee shall elect a chairman from among its members.
