Governor's Economic Development Council

Function: The duties of the Council shall be to:
- Solicit funds from private sources for use to promote the economic interest of Minnesota;
- Assist, at the Governor's request, in the establishment of economic development goals, activities and objectives for Minnesota;
- Undertake such other economic development tasks as requested by the Governor
Membership:
15 members appointed by the governor.
