    Agricultural Resource Loan Guaranty Advisory Commission

    Function: Advise the Minnesota Agricultural Resource Loan Guaranty Board on establishing a program; may provide assistance in evaluating applications for loan guarantees.

    Minnesota Agricultural and Economic Development Board
    History: 1987 Minn. Laws Chap. 386 Art. 9 changed the Agricultural Resource Loan Guaranty Board to the Agricultural and Economic Development Board.

    Agricultural Resource Loan Guaranty Board
    Membership: 5 members. The members of the commission shall include individuals with expertise in agricultural processing, commercial lending and financing of similar or related projects, agricultural economics, and engineering, chemistry, and other natural sciences related to the projects. Members are appointed by Agricultural Resource Loan Guaranty Board.
    Notes: The Commission is on Shepard's 1993 list of executive branch advisory groups (annotated as existing at discretion of appointing commissioner).
