Citizens Task Force on Energy Policy

Function:

Examine energy production and consumption patterns in Minnesota and develop recommendations for state policy and action.

History:

Governor Anderson appointed the Citizens Task Force on Energy Policy in response to a growing concern over predicted fuel shortages.

The task force issued a set of recommendations and a final report in November 1973.
