Function: Selects a specific site within the city of Duluth for location of a national class entertainment center, and spends appropriated money to acquire property for the center and plans, designs, constructs, equips, and furnishes the center. Also, advances, enhances, fosters and promotes the use of entertainment and convention center and its facilities for activities, conventions, events, and athletic and cultural productions.
11 directors; seven appointed by the city of Duluth and four appointed by the governor.
