Comprehensive Health Planning Advisory Council
Active dates:1973- ?
Function: The council will advise the Planning Agency on the development and implementation of comprehensive health planning in Minnesota. The council will be the State Advisory Board for the health aspect of the Economic Stabilization Program.
The federal Comprehensive Health Planning Program (Public Law 89-749) can be seen as a precursor to this advisory council because the program worked to develop state-level health plans to present to the Governor and Legislature.
