The Advisory Committee on Compulsive Gambling makes recommendations to the Department of Human Services regarding policy, programs and funding related to the state sponsored problem gambling program. Bylaws formalize the committee’s mission: to provide advice and direction to the Department and to ensure a culturally responsive and recovery oriented comprehensive continuum of services is available to all Minnesota residents.
Minnesota’s state sponsored Problem Gambling Program is administered by the Department of Human Services, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division and is advised by the Advisory Committee on Compulsive Gambling.
The 16-member committee is appointed to a four-year term by the Commissioner of Human Services.
