Practical Skills Task Force

Authority:
Established by the Board of Cosmetology
Function: The Practical Skills Task Force will evaluate the current Practical Skills Test given in Minnesota cosmetology schools and create testing criteria for new licenses which are currently under development. The PSTF will be responsible for making formal recommendations to the Board.
Membership:
The Task Force will consist of no more than 15 members and have three subcommittees: Eyelash technology subcommittee; advanced practice esthiology subcommittee; and cosmetology, esthiology, and nail technology subcommittee. Task Force members must sit on at least one subcommittee and may sit on multiple subcommittees.
