Legislative Working Group on Economic Disparities

Function:

The legislative working group was created to consider the economic and racial disparities policy issue with regards to the feasibility of addressing it in a special session. The working group concluded that the issue was too complex to address in a special session.

History:

The working group was created by Governor Dayton and legislative leaders. There were two other working groups created at the same time: Legislative Working Group on Real ID and Legislative Working Group on Iron Range Unemployment.

The first meeting was January 7, 2016 in the Minnesota Senate Building.
