The task force was formed for the purpose of advising the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency on policy, planning, priorities, and operational matters concerning the implementation and administration of the Homeless Management Information System collaboration.
In accordance with Minnesota Statute Section 15.059 subdivision 6, the HMIS Task Force shall expire at the pleasure of the Minnesota Housing Commissioner, or two years after the first members of the task force are appointed, whichever is sooner.
12 seats total; four members representing Continuums of Care, three members representing state agencies (including the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency and the Department of Human Services), one tribal representative, and seven community members.
