    Certification of Skills Task Force

    Function: Responsible for overhauling the practical certification of skills given in cosmetology schools
    History: The goal of the task force is to present recommended changes to the board in February 2015. The final implementation goal for the updated certification of skills is July 1, 2015.

    Membership: 7 licensed cosmetology instructors
