Diagnostic Codes List Advisory Committee

Function: The advisory workgroup will assist the Alcohol and Drug Abuse, Adult Mental Health and Children's Mental Health Divisions with the mapping of the current International Classification of Diseases, Ninth Revision (ICD-9) codes to the Tenth revision (ICD-10).
History: The Diagnostic Codes List Advisory Committee was reviewed by the Legislative Commission on Planning and Fiscal Policy (LCPFP) in 2013 as part of their biennial duty required by Minn. Stat. 3.885 Subd. 11. The LCPFP's 2013 Recommendations called for keeping the committee.
Membership: The advisory committee shall be comprised of mental health professional associations, counties, tribes, managed care organizations, state agencies, and consumer organizations
Agency heads: Commissioner of Human Services
