Minnesota National Guard Senior Advisory Task Force

Function: A board of leading citizens representing various civilian disciplines to advise the Adjutant General on topics impacting the strategy of the Minnesota National Guard and its service to the nation, state, communities, and citizens.
Advisory to:
Minnesota National Guard
Membership: The board will consist of not more than 15 members appointed by the Adjutant General after self-nomination through the Office of the Secretary of State. Board members will serve two-year terms.
Membership includes: At least one member representing each of the following disciplines: Business; Law Enforcement; Faith; Local Government; Faternal/Service Organizations; Media; Inter-Agency (Fed eral or State); Post-secondary Education; Secondary Education; and, the Judiciary. The remaining five positions will be selected from applicants of any of the above disciplines. One member will be further designated by the Adjutant General to serve as Chairperson. Meetings will be held 3 times per year, Summer, Fall and Spring, at State Military Installations or various Metro Area locations.
