Governor's Citizen Advisory Commission on Redistricting

Function: The mission was to provide the governor with advice on the process used to prepare new congressional and legislative redistricting plans for the period 2002-2010.
Membership:
11 members, with one representative each from the state's four major political parties, one member representing the League of Women Voters, one member representing Common Cause, four members appointed at-large, and the director of Minnesota Planning, who chaired the commission. Commission members were selected to reflect the political, social and geographic diversity of the state.
