State Library Plan Task Force

Function: Draft a statewide plan for library services in Minnesota. Address library and information needs of the people of Minnesota and assess services that are provided. Activities will be carried out through town meetings, focus forums, and surveys.
History:
The State Library Advisory Council has established a State Library Plan Task Force that is responsible to draft a statewide plan for library services for the State of Minnesota.

Membership:
State Library Advisory Council member Garrison Hale will serve as Chair of the Task Force. Assisting will be Lars Steltzner, Chair of the Advisory Council, and Suzanne Miller, State Librarian. A team of people from the state of Minnesota will be asked to serve on the Task Force.
