4.Promote networking, collaboration, and innovation with entities that share our vision.
History:
Minnesota Alliance with Youth was founded in 1997 as a means for youth - and organizations that serve youth - to actively network, share resources, and collaborate on innovative strategies that promote youth leadership and advocacy.
America's Promise Alliance was formed by General Colin Powell to carry forward a vision of national and community service put forth by then-President Clinton and the then living ex-presidents at the President's Summit for America's Future. The MN Alliance with Youth is MN the affiliate of America's Promise-The Alliance for Youth. Minnesota receives training and support from America's Promise to build stronger networks between youth-service providers and other interested parties by allowing them to easily share ideas, receive technical assistance, and learn from peers.
