Governor's Council on Minnesota's Lake Superior Coastal Program

Function:

Reviews and makes recommendations to the Commissioner of the Department of Natural Resources on program priorities, selection of programs and projects for funding; the annual administrative (non-project) budget; and the participation in the two year program review.

Membership:

The Governor's Council on Minnesota's Coastal Program consists of fifteen members, with three persons representing each of the four counties located within the coastal boundary. The remaining three members are selected from an at-large pool of names. Members are appointed by the governor.
