Unlicensed Mental Health Service Providers Board

Function:

Registers mental health services providers in Minnesota and enforces rules relating to their conduct.

History:

The board was repealed in 1991 (Laws of Minnesota 1991, Chap. 292 Art. 2 Sec. 75).

Membership:

The board is composed of 17 members: two chemical dependency counselors, two professional counselors, two pastoral counselors, five members representing other identifiable specialties and subgroups of providers subject to filing requirements, and six public members. Members are appointed by the governor.
