State Employee Assistance Program Advisory Committee

Function:

Advises the Minnesota Commissioner of Administration concerning the operational policies of the employee assistance program.

History:

The advisory committee was originally established in 1980. The committee was abolished in 1983, but then recreated in 1984 with the commissioner of administration, rather than the governor, as appointing authority. The committee was abolished in 1989.

Membership:

Not more than 15 members serve on the committee. Originally, members were appointed by the governor. Starting in 1984, the commissioner of administration had appointing authority.
