Minnesota River Agriculture Team

Function: Represent agricultural perspective to discussions about water quality problems in the Minnesota River (studies had shown that certain agricultural practices were contributing to the problems). Develop a coordinated approach to agricultural issues among the government agencies dealing with water quality in the Minnesota River.
Membership:
19 members (farmers; representatives of federal, state, and local government agencies involved with pollution issues); appointed by commissioner of agriculture.
