Advantage Minnesota, Inc.

Function:

A nonprofit public/private partnership promoting Minnesota's strengths and assets to businesses both within and outside of Minnesota. Advantage Minnesota encourages businesses to remain in the state and promotes in-state expansion by current and new Minnesota employers and businesses.

History:

Statute repealed in 2003.

Membership:

Board of directors: members of organizations certified by commissioner of trade and economic development; governor; commissioner or trade and economic development; majority and minority leaders of senate (nonvoting); speaker and minority leader of house (nonvoting).
