Advisory Task Force on Uniform Conveyancing Forms

The task force reviews uniform conveyancing blanks and recommends new or revised forms to the Commission for adoption by order of the Commissioner of Commerce.

History:

Authority to create an advisory committee was enacted in 1975. The group was renamed a task force in 1983. See records for the Uniform Conveyancing Blanks Advisory Committee and the Uniform Conveyancing Blanks Commission in agency database for more history on the groups.

The Advisory Task Force on Uniform Conveyancing Forms was reviewed by the Legislative Commission on Planning and Fiscal Policy (LCPFP) in 2013 as part of their biennial duty required by Minn. Stat. 3.885 Subd. 11. The LCPFP's 2013 Recommendations called for the keeping the task force.
