Special Reviews from the 'Watchdog' of Minnesota State Government
The Office of the Legislative Auditor (OLA) is a professional, nonpartisan office in the legislative branch of Minnesota State government. The principal
responsibility for OLA's Financial Audit Division is to audit and evaluate the agencies and programs of state government. In addition, the division
investigates allegations that state resources have been used inappropriately.
The Financial Audit Division conducts these special reviews on an as needed basis. Over the past year, several noteworthy reviews were taken on by the OLA
- either in response to a request from legislators or because the Legislative Auditor thought it was necessary. Below are a few of the interesting,
