GOVERNOR PAWLENTY APPOINTS RANUM TO THE MINNESOTA HIGHER EDUCATION FACILITIES AUTHORITY -- June 29, 2006

Governor Tim Pawlenty today announced the reappointment of Michael Ranum to the Minnesota Higher Education Facilities Authority.

Michael Ranum, of Circle Pines, currently serves as Chief Financial and Administration Officer with Hazeldon Foundation in Center City. Ranum formerly served as Assistant Vice President with Lutheran Brotherhood in Minneapolis. He received a B.A. in Business Administration/Accounting and History-Political Science from Concordia College in Moorhead. He received an M.B.A. from the University of Minnesota in St. Paul. Ranum will serve a four-year term which ends January 4, 2010. He first joined the Board in 2001.
